[politics]
its amazing how politics in singapore is so one way. i mean PAP has been around for a very long time and its founder is still alive ok.
Let me say a few words here about the upcoming general elections. its true what they say in the papers that what PAP wants to do, they will do it or maybe even slightly more. this gains the people's trust in stuff they want to see in thier neighbourhood.
on the other hand, the opposition parties did almost the same thing. but they tired so hard to produce what people will say not satisfying.
my aunt lived in potong pasir and its controlled by the opposition and nothing much has been going on in that area for a few years. from the days i was in primary sch till i last visited their place last year.
i dont want to tok too much here, i think it will very very dangerous. but i just want to say what i have been reading.
o yah....
i wanted to update another political thing. this time is between singapore and malaysia concerning about the replacement of the causeway with a bridge.
i dont know about me mentioning about it before or not but what the heck its a great thing to talk about. as you know or might not know, malaysia decides to build a bridge to replace the causeway.
1 reason of doing so is to allow free flow of the sea water in the straits so that there will be fresh air circulating around that area. another reason is to attract tourist from sunny singapore to come to thier country with the bridge which will look darn 'future' look.
its sucky to know that there is no benefits on the singapore side even though malaysia has list out thier benefits. i mean its true what singapore government has said, why we would want to spend so much money on something that is not beneficial to us? singapore decides to put that decision on hold.
malaysia goes a head with the bridge though but singapore stands firm with the decision to hold.
a reader wrote in the Berita Harian saying that why malaysia is so rushing with the bridge? just to attract tourist? he mention that the money used for thier side of the bridge can be used to clean up and give thier city area a more vibrant look. i total agree man. i mean imagine with the completion of the bridge. so grand so nice. then once u past the checkpoints, darn the city is so gloom.
am i in trouble?
o well, i think i shall stop here ah. i need to book in soon. but i love the singapore government. knowing what to do with the money and win the people's heart. its a good thing that singapore is seperated from malaysia 41 years ago. i wont be proud to be a malaysian mat. ha.
alright. on the way to find the off book in camp that went missing. darn it. which idiot go and take also i dont know and because of that i have to go back camp. haiz.
